Who we are

The “Coalition for a Cyanide Free Romania” was created by a group of environmental NGOs from all around Romania. Acting for a cleaner and healthier environment, the members of the coalition are promoting one of the most progressive environmental project laws in the last few years.

The Independent Centre for the Development of Environmental Resources
The organization develops programs which contribute to the protection of the right to a healthy and ecologically balanced environment and the development of the non-governmental sector in Romania.

Greenpeace CEE
Greenpeace is an international organization which has offices in 39 countries around the world. It acts to make polluters responsible and promotes change wherever it is required.

The Partnership Foundation
The Foundation for Partnership promotes public participation to improve the quality of the environment. The environmental partnership plays an important role in fostering cooperation between people and organizations.

Terra Millennium III
Terra Millennium III develops ecological programs to make people aware of the effects of climate change.

Green Transylvania
Green Transylvania aims to create a society sensitive to the environment through the education, instruction and information of the young generation.

Focus Eco Center
Focus Eco Center is a non-governmental environmental protection organization that promotes the principle of sustainable development.

Sun Valley
Sun Valley aims to contribute to the consolidation of civil society particularly in the areas of environmental protection and consumer rights but also in any other areas witch relates to them.

A.R.I.N.
A.R.I.N monitors the situations which endanger the environment and human beings as a part of it and contributes to the development of the legal framework for environmental protection

Mindbomb
Mindbomb is a group of young graphic artists, designers, architects, IT specialists and writers who use the “social poster” to talk about active community engagement, education, social security and environmental protection.

Clubul Ecologic Transilvania (CET)
CET supports the sustainable development of the Cluj region, the Somes Valley and the Apuseni Mountains and promotes the eco-civic education of the population in this region.

Mare Nostrum
Focusing on partnership and the respect for the environment, Mare Nostrum is actively promoting public awareness, ecological education and lobbies relevant decision makers.

Liga Pro Europa
The main programs of the organization deal with the promotion of inter-cultural cooperation, human and minority rights, civic education and conflict resolution, predominately in Transylvania.

Strawberry Net.
StrawberryNet is an electronic communications network which promotes the protection of the environment, sustainable development, democracy and human rights in Romania.

InfOMG
The aim if this orgaisation is to provide objective information regarding genetically modified organisms in Romania and abroad and to raise public awareness regarding the introduction of GMOs into the environment as well as the food chain.

The Eco-Civic and Journalistic Association "Eco-Media"
This organisation works towards the protection of the environment, sustainable community development, and the improvement of the business environment by promoting a knowledge-based economy.

The Otus Association
This NGO specialises on the monitoring and subsequent protection of Romania's listed flora and fauna.
